1. Subscribe to our emailing list
The ICLMG’s weekly bilingual News Digest is a carefully selected collection of news articles regarding national security, anti-terrorism, civil liberties, criminalization of dissent, immigration and refugee rights, border control issues, surveillance and privacy, press freedom, rendition to torture, war drones, terror and no-fly lists, Guantanamo prison, and much more!
You can also subscribe to our General (English) emailing list to receive our occasional press releases, reports, calls to action and special events, in addition to the weekly News Digest.
You can unsubscribe at any moment using the link at the bottom of all our emails.
2. Become a social media champion
ICLMG promotes and protects human rights in the context of the war on terrorism, and thus we often bring attention to problematic national security legislation and governments’ actions that negatively impact civil liberties, especially in Canada. We do this by sharing articles, analyses and calls to action with as wide a network as possible. You can help ICLMG reach new people and connect to broader audiences.
3. Take action!
We occasionnally call on you to sign a petition, answer a questionnaire, or write to the Prime Minister or your MP. Don’t want to miss a single call to action? Make sure to subscribe to our emailing list!
4. Donate
Your donation to ICLMG supports our work in protecting and promoting civil liberties and human rights in the context of the so-called “war on terror” in Canada. Our work includes, among others: media monitoring, research, writing briefs and reports, public education, lobbying and carrying out advocacy work with Parliamentarians and policy makers, etc.
We do not receive any financial support from the Federal government. Any donation – $5, $50, $500 – goes a long way. You can donate via Paypal, by mailing us a check or by sending an e-transfer.
