Hassan Diab, a Canadian university professor and father, was extradited to France based on weak, confusing evidence, where he spent more than three years in prison, without charge or trial. He was released in 2018 due to significant evidence exculpating him. The French Court of Appeal, despite no new evidence and with contradictory reasoning, has now shockingly ordered Hassan to stand trial.
